An application has gone into the town to put up a new 6,800-square-foot home at 670 Carter St., next to another planned home of the exact same size.
According to a building permit application filed June 27, the home will include six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two half-baths, kitchen, breakfast area, family room, living room, foyer, dining room, mudroom, sitting room, loft and playroom.
Total construction is expected to cost about $1.2 million, the application says. The contractor is Wilton-based D’Acunto Construction LLC and architect is Mt. Kisco, N.Y.-based Goewey & Amasi AIA.
The vacant 2.77-acre lot at 670 Carter St. was last assessed at $609,700, tax records show.
