The New Canaan Building Department on Monday received an application to build a 6,733-square-foot home on a 2-acre Country Club Road property.
Purchased for $1 million in September, the parcel currently includes a 1964 Colonial with 2,393 square feet.
The new home will cost about $1.3 million to build and will include an attached pool house.
The main house will have six bedrooms and seven full bathrooms, three half-baths, six fireplaces, a finished basement and attic, 3-car garage and covered patio, according to the application.
The property is owned by Auto Enterprise LLC, town tax records show.
The contractor on the project is Aspen Partners and architect is Greenwich-based CAH Architecture and Design LLC.

A building permit application filed on Tuesday calls for the construction of a 4,200-square-foot home on a vacant 2.52-acre parcel at 96 Garibaldi Lane.
To be built for about $850,000 by Ridgefield’s Heritage Home Construction LLC, it will include four bedrooms, three half-baths and an attached 2-car garage, the application said.
The property is owned by BLT NC Homes LLC of Stamford, a company whose principal is a Ridgefield man. The architect, Mose Associate Architects LLC, also is based in Ridgefield.
