The town last week received an application to build a 6,568-square-foot home on Skyview Lane.
The five-bedroom house at 97 Skyview Lane will include five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two half-baths and three fireplaces, according to a building permit application filed Aug. 22.
The 1.32-acre property has been sold three times in the past two years, tax records show: for $1.2 million in May 2015, $1,350,000 in April 2016 and $1,210,000 in March of this year.
It’s owned by a limited liability company whose principals include a Stamford resident and New Canaan resident, according to records on file with the Connecticut Secretary of the State.
A 1962-built Cape Cod-style home on the lot was demolished last year.
The new house is to be built by Stamford-based Altamura Homes and has been designed by Rodger Braley of ISO Architects in Newtown.
