Kolker will speak about his latest release, Hidden Valley Road: Inside the Mind of An American Family, on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. As part of the presentation, Kolker will be joined by Silver Hill Hospital’s Chief Clinical Officer Michael Groat, PhD, for a discussion of the many questions surrounding schizophrenia. The collaborative series “Glass House Presents at New Canaan Library” is pleased to offer a virtual presentation by curator Fritz Horstman on the art of Anni Albers, the preeminent textile artist of the 20th century. Known for her pioneering graphic wall hangings, weavings, and designs, Anni Albers (1899-1994) is considered the most important textile artist of the 20th century. Slated to have been on view at the New Britain Museum of American Art March 19 – June 20, 2020, the exhibition “In Thread and On Paper: Anni Albers in Connecticut” explores the groundbreaking work Albers produced in Connecticut in the 1950s through the end of her life.
