Police arrested a 29-year-old Summer Street man Friday afternoon following a domestic dispute.

At about 12:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Summer on a report that two family members were arguing, according to a police report.

Following an investigation, police charged the man with third-degree assault on a victim over 60 as well as disorderly conduct.

It isn’t clear how the two are related, what spurred the fight or just what led police to bring the assault charge—the case is being classified as a domestic incident.

He was released after promising to appear Monday in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
