A new 6,800-square-foot home is planned for a vacant 3-acre lot on Carter Street, according to a building permit application filed May 7.

The new home planned for 674 Carter St. will include 6,800 square feet and will cost about $1 million to build, according to the application filed by Carter Development LLC—a company whose principals include a Wilton man and Barrington, R.I. man.

It will include six bedrooms and full bathrooms, one half-bath, kitchen, breakfast area, living room, dining room, family room, foyer, library, sitting room, loft and playroom, the application said.

The contractor for the job is Daconto Construction and architect is Mt. Kisco, N.Y.-based Goewey & Demasi AIA.
