Police Investigate Theft of $3,800 in Power Tools; Domestic Incidents

Police are investigating a report that $3,800 in power tools had been stolen from a Park Street residential construction site.

A trailer on a job site there was broken into some time between 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 12 and 7:23 am. the following day, according to a police report.

Police have no known suspects at this time, the report said.

Police arrested a 58-year-old Canoe Hill Road man following a domestic incident.

The man was charged with disorderly conduct and released after promising to appear Nov. 10 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police withheld specifics on the incident in order to avoid re-victimizing others involved, as per state law.

The prior week, police had arrested a Ramhorne Road man on the same charge following a domestic incident.

The incident had occurred Nov. 2 and the man was arrested after promising to appear the following day in court.
