The town on March 31 received an application to build a 9,320-square-foot home at 56 Winfield Lane, a 3.32-acre property that sold last month for $1.8 million.

A demolition permit was issued Wednesday for the 1960-built Colonial that stands there now.

The new home will include eight rooms on the first floor, including a kitchen, study, two half-baths and mudroom, and eight more on the second floor, including a master bedroom, sitting room and laundry, with a finished attic and partially finished basement, according to the application.

It will cost about $1.1 million, the application said.

The contractor on the project is Jericho, N.Y.-based Woodcrest Homes LLC, specs by Wilton’s D. Peters Design LLC, the application said.

The new home at 20 Dabney Road will include five bedrooms, four bathrooms and two half-baths, according to an application filed April 8 with the New Canaan Building Department.

It will cost about $775,000 to build.

The property sold for that same amount last summer, according to tax records.

The contractor on the job is Sillo Construction LLC, specs by Lecher Designs—both of New Canaan.

The residences planned for 126 Richmond Hill Road each will include six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, one half-bath and a finished attic and basement, according to a building permit application filed Monday.

They will include about 2,114 square feet on the first and second floors, 659 in the basement and 891 in the attic, the application said.

The units will cost about $450,000 apiece to build, it said.

Formerly site of an 1850-built Colonial, the lot sold for $1 million in December, tax records show.

The contractor on the job is Karp Custom Builders of New Canaan, specs by Chris Hull Architects of Cos Cob, according to the application.
