The property at 144 Overlook Drive sold for $850,000 in November and the home that was there came down three months later, tax records show.
The new home will include six bedrooms and full bathrooms, a half-bath, fireplaces, finished basement and 2-car garage, according to a building permit issued Tuesday.
It will cost $900,000 to build, and the contractor on the job is Stamford-based Sky View Builders LLC, the permit said.

A 4,589-square-foot home is planned for 97 Beech Road, a 1.53-acre lot where a ranch-style house less than half that size came down earlier this month.
The new construction will include 18 rooms, with a family room, bedroom and full bathroom in basement, mechanical room, gathering room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, mudroom and powder room on first floor, and four bedrooms and three full bathrooms on the second floor, according to a building permit application filed Wednesday.
It will cost about $700,000 to build, the application said. The contractor on the job is New Canaan-based Gardiner Group LLC, specs by Judith Larson Associates, also of New Canaan.
