The town on Feb. 6 received an application to build a new, 8,000-square-foot home on Oenoke Ridge Road where a 1770-built antique had stood.
The house planned for the 4-acre parcel at 734 Oenoke Ridge Road will include five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half-baths, four fireplaces, a finished basement and three-car garage, according to the building permit application.
It will cost about $2.4 million to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is the owner, it said.
The property had been purchased in March 2017 for $1,795,000, tax records show.
A demolition permit for the antique Colonial that had stood there was issued last August.
