The town this week received an application to build a 4,956-square-foot home on a .65-acre lot on Kimberly Place.
The new home planned for 144 Kimberly Place will include four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half-baths, a room over the garage, partially finished attic and basement and open terrace, according to a building permit application received Oct. 15.
It will cost $1.8 million to build, the application said.
The property had sold for $1,325,000 in April 2016, tax records show.
The contractor on the new building job is Ridgefield-based Pelham Homes LLC, and the architect is Neil Hauck Architects of Darien.

On Oct. 4, the town received an application to build a 16,603-square-foot home at 2 Wing Road, a 6.28-acre parcel in the 2-acre zone.
The new home would include nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, two half-baths, four fireplaces and a three-bay garage, according to a building permit application.
It will include 36 rooms overall, the permit said.
The house would cost about $2,750,000 to build and the contractor on the job is Stamford-based Yankee Custom Builders Inc. The architect is Brooks & Falotico of New Canaan.
The property had been sold in May 2015 for $3.1 million, tax records show. A demolition permit then was issued in December 2016 for a 1941-built ranch-style house on the property.
