A new 3,200-square-foot home is planned for a .36-acre lot on Gower Road, nearly tripling the size of a 1956-built ranch-style house that was demolished in May.
The 2.5-story home planned for 145 Gower Road will cost about $750,000 to $800,000 to build, according to a building permit application filed July 12. It will include four bedrooms and full bathrooms, one half-bath, living room, dining room, office, kitchen-and-family room, laundry and mudroom, the application said.
A Queens, N.Y.-based corporation purchased the property for $650,000 in April, tax records show.
The contractor on the job is P. Casinelli Construction of New Canaan, architect is Sketch LLC of South Salem, N.Y.
