Police on Sunday night arrested a 22-year-old Bridgeport woman by warrant in connection with crimes she’s accused of committing while working at a New Canaan home two years ago.
At about 8:47 p.m. on July 3, officers were contacted by authorities in Trumbull who were holding the woman on an active warrant, according to a police report.
The woman had been working as a caregiver at a residence in New Canaan in 2014 at the time of the incident that led to the arrest, according to the report.
She was charged with 31 counts of illegal use of a credit card as well as one count each of third-degree forgery, third-degree larceny and credit card theft.
Police held the woman on $5,000 bond and scheduled her to appear Tuesday in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
