By nature of its unique attributes, the COVID-19 virus has spread through more than 180 countries and all 50 US states in less than two months. The subsequent broad-based stoppage of the US economy, with as much as 80-90% of the country retreating to containment, has driven US economic data to levels that are 20 standard deviations below average. At the same time, the global fiscal and monetary response to bridge the shock has been the largest in history. Join Tom Joyce for his knowledgeable perspective on what the future might hold.
