Thank you Mike, this is very helpful.
Are parking regulations in effect in New Canaan?
Enforcement officers are out working to ensure that motorists are parking as they should be, yes.
Is Sole open? And I thought Elm was doing curbside?
Thanks Toddy, I just re-checked elm’s FB page and moved them over. I don’t know about Solé, haven’t heard from them yet.
Why is the high school track padlocked? Are parks next?
Don’t know, Rich. The NCHS track is supposed to be open for walkers and joggers, as per a press release that I received last night from the town. Here’s the full press release. It’s a rundown on parks operations.
Thanks for these helpful updates. Some of the stores noted have reduced hours; for example, a sign on Tony’s Deli indicated that they are closing at 3 pm, instead of their normal 5 pm. I strongly encourage New Canaanites to support these local businesses through this tough time so that we make sure they are still around when we get to the other side of this. Besides, what’s not to like with a meatlovers on a wedge?
