Waveny Park Wednesday Concert Postponed to Thursday Night, Series Continues Through August 30

Wednesday night’s Waveny Park concert, featuring “AirBorne Jazz,” has been postponed to Thursday night because of concerns about the weather. Wednesday nights, bands are performing at Waveny Park from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. as part of the Waveny Park Summer Concert Series. “Bring a chair or blanket, a picnic supper, and enjoy the music” but not a grill, organizers say. The concerts take place on the lawn behind Waveny House. The concerts continue through the last Wednesday in August, with rain dates on the following night.
