New Homes Planned for White Oak Shade, North Wilton Roads
|
An application has gone into the town to build a 4,100-square-foot home on a .64-acre White Oak Shade lot where an 1889 Colonial once stood. The original house at 376 White Oak Shade Road was razed in 2008, according to tax records. The property was purchased last month for $657,500—a lot now overgrown that will look familiar to many motorists. It’s above the Merritt Parkway overpass and just below Shagbark, on the right hand side of the road as you’re traveling north, with a low stone wall running parallel to the street. The new home would cost about $500,000 to build, and the contractor would be Cheshire-based F.R. Dinatali LLC, according to the application (filed Wednesday).
