Police on Friday arrested a 30-year-old Stamford man by warrant and charged him with violating the conditions of his release.

The man had been arrested for driving under the influence after midnight on a Monday in September after an officer stopped him for failure to drive in the established lane in the area of South Avenue at Colonial Court, according to a police report.

He turned himself in on an active paperless warrant at about 11 a.m. on Feb. 4, the report said.

The man was released on $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear March 16 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
