New Canaan police released a video surveillance image Thursday of the man they’re seeking who on Nov. 2 passed a fake $2 bill at a gas station in town.
It happened at about 9 p.m. on Nov. 2, when a white male roughly 18 to 20 years old paid for chewing tobacco at a downtown business with a real $5 bill and a fake $2 bill.
“The below individual is wanted for questioning by the New Canaan Police Department,” Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said in a press release issued Thursday.
“Those with information about this individual’s identity and/or that have information about this incident should contact Sergeant Peter Condos of the NCPD Detective Bureau at: 203-594-3522.”
