Police arrested a 43-year-old Vitti Street man last week after receiving a report from his wife that he’d threatened to hurt their kids.
At about 8:40 a.m. on June 22, the man’s wife, 40, told police that her husband had been acting strangely for a day or two prior to telling her that he would hurt their two kids if it meant hurting her, according to a police report.
Police interviewed the man and based on that as well as his wife’s statement, charged him with second-degree threatening.
He was released on $482 bond and scheduled to appear June 23 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
