Police last week cited a 28-year-old Norwalk man on minor drug charges after finding pot and smoking gear in his car during a traffic stop.
At about 9:48 p.m. on Sept. 14, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling northbound on New Norwalk Road with a defective marker light, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer spotted marijuana in the center console of the vehicle, in plain view, the report said.
A search of the car and driver yielded more pot as well as pipes and rolling papers, it said.
The man was issued infraction summonses for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
