Police late Thursday arrested a 47-year-old Norwalk woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 14, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Farm Road on a report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with the driver asleep at the wheel, police said.
Officers arrived and smelled alcohol on her breath on speaking with her, according to a police report.
She later failed field sobriety tests and her blood-alcohol level was found to be .166, more than twice the legal limit, the report said.
The woman was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 27 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
