Police on Saturday night arrested a Stamford couple at Waveny House when they became belligerent with guests during an event.
At about 9:55 p.m. on Sept. 3, officers were dispatched to Waveny House on a report of an intoxicated and disorderly man, according to police.
There, officers learned that the 30-year-old man was attending an event and becoming aggressive toward the guests, according to a police report.
He not only was creating a disturbance with those guests but also was uncooperative with officers, the report said.
His wife, 29, also was acting belligerent and cursing at guests, it said.
Both were charged with breach of peace and the husband additionally faces a charge of interfering with an officer, police said.
They were released after promising to appear Sept. 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
