Police last week cited a 20-year-old Norwalk woman for a minor drug charge after finding a small amount of marijuana in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
At about 12:35 p.m. on Nov. 21, an officer on patrol saw a motorist traveling eastbound on Lakeview Avenue without wearing her seatbelt, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer smelled burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle, the report said.
An investigation of the car yielded the discovery of pot inside, it said.
The woman was cited for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana, as well as failure to wear a seatbelt.
