Police on Wednesday morning arrested a 31-year-old Bridgeport woman by warrant in connection with the theft of 15 cellphones last month from a shop in downtown New Canaan.
At about 10:19 a.m. on Jan. 20, officers were dispatched to Radio Shack at 94 Park St. on a report of the theft—a haul worth about $8,566.59, according to a police report.
Authorities last weekend brought a felony-level charge against a 22-year-old New Canaan man wanted for the crime.
They also charged the woman with third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny. She turned herself in at 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 22.
Police held the woman on $10,000 bond and scheduled her to appear Feb. 22 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
