Police on Saturday afternoon arrested a 22-year-old New Canaan man by warrant in connection with the theft last month of 15 cellphones from a local business.
At about 10:19 a.m. on Jan. 20, officers were dispatched to Radio Shack on Park Street on a report of the larceny, according to a police report.
The devices were worth a combined $8,566, the report said.
Following an investigation, police obtained a warrant for the arrest of an East Hills Drive man on charges of third-degree larceny, a felony offense, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.
He turned himself in to New Canaan police at about 3:53 p.m. on Feb. 18.
Police released the man on $10,000 bond and scheduled him to appear March 3 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
