Police arrested a 41-year-old East Avalon Drive woman by warrant last week after she sent an email to her ex-husband, violating a protective order.
At about 4:41 p.m. on April 24, the ex-husband, a 45-year-old Darien man, told police that his wife had violated an order saying that she could only contact him by way of addressing their children, according to a police report.
The woman was released after promising to appear April 27 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police on April 20 arrested a 24-year-old Bridgeport man by warrant and charged him with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
He’s accused of helping a 47-year-old woman burglarize a New Canaan home in October, according to a police report. Specifically, he’s accused of driving a car used in that and other area burglaries, where the woman (arrested in December) entered a home and stole goods, then pawned them for money, the report said.
Police had his name and learned that he was being held in connection with a separate arrest by another law enforcement agency, the report said.
Police obtained a warrant for his arrest after they saw him on video outside the pawn shop that the pair used, police said. He was held on $40,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 20 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

Police are investigating a 39-year-old Danvers Lane woman’s complaint that someone had opened a BJ’s credit card in her name and spent $1,441 on it at a store in Quakertown, Pa.
According to a police report, someone also tried to open a Sam’s Club membership and Sprint account using the local woman’s name and personal information.
