Paul R. Karl, Jr., age 49 of Beacon Falls, beloved husband of Renee (Raino) Karl, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital.

Born in Stamford on Feb. 21, 1967, he was a son of the late Paul R. Karl, Sr. and Margaret (Morin) Karl of Trumbull. A wonderful attorney, Paul was also a proud volunteer fireman as well as an EMT in New Canaan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an Eagle Scout, enjoyed softball, baseball, NASCAR, and golf, and was a fan of the NY Yankees as well as the NY Jets.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his adored son, Paul R. Karl, III; sister, Anne Whiteside and her husband Robert of Trumbull; father and mother-in-law, William “Pop” and Kathleen Raino of Seymour; brothers-in-law, William Raino III and his wife Deyanira of NV, and Scott Raino and his wife Christy of NV; sister-in-law, Robin Diamond and her husband Brian of Trumbull; nieces and nephew, Nicole, Sarah, Cailey, Megan, Bethany, and Jonathan. His many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as all of his loving pets.
A memorial service in his honor will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 directly at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls. There are no calling hours and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
