The single-family home planned for 102 Locust Ave. would have eight total rooms, including three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, as well as an attached two-car garage, according to the application.

The construction project is estimated to cost about $350,000, the application said.

The contractor on the job is Stamford-based Thomas Sturges Construction, the architect McMillon Architects of Ridgefield, it said.

The property was purchased last summer for $325,000 by a limited liability company, tax records show. The LLC’s principal is a Nevada man, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State records.

A prior owner had planned a slightly larger single-family home for the parcel last year after putting in for a variance to build a two-family home on the lot, but that application never came before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
