The town building department on Wednesday issued a building permit that will see a new 6,000-square-foot home go up on a 1.35-acre Parish Road lot where a ranch one-third that size had stood.
To be built for about $1 million by Stellar Homes of Brookfield, the new home at 75 Parish Road will include five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half-baths and five fireplaces, with a finished attic and three-bay garage, according to the permit.
The lot sold one year ago for $1,275,000 and the ranch was demolished in June, tax records show.
It’s owned by a limited liability company whose principal resides in Florida, according to records on file with the Connecticut Secretary of the State.
