Police late Tuesday arrested a 23-year-old New Canaan man and charged him with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.
At about 10:50 p.m. on April 21, officers were dispatched to a Dogwood Lane home on a report of a domestic dispute between the man and another occupant of the residence, police said.
There, police conducted an investigation that resulted in misdemeanor charges.

Under state law, a person is guilty of fourth-degree criminal mischief if he or she “damages, tampers with or removes any tangible property owned by the state or a municipality,” including those used for “police alarm” purposes.
Police held the man on $2,300 bond and scheduled him to appear Wednesday in state Superior Court.
