All New Canaanites are invited by VFW Post 653 to join them at Lakeview Cemetery to put out new flags veterans’ grave sites. This is a donor-supported annual tradition. To reach the veterans’ graves area in the cemetery, entering from the Main Street side, follow the road over the bridge and straight ahead for about 25 yards.
