A 25-year-old Urban Street man told police last week that $40 had been withdrawn from his bank account after a debit card was stolen.

The man left his residence around 8:30 a.m. that morning and found that the $40 had been withdrawn 30 minutes later, according to a police report. He canceled the card straightaway, the report said.

Returning home from work that afternoon, the man said that his roommate’s belongings were gone and that he believes she is a prime suspect in the debit card theft, the report said.
