Police arrested a 48-year-old Fairfield woman by warrant last Friday and charged her with failure to appear.
At about 11 a.m. on Dec. 4, an officer spotted the woman driving a car that ran a red light while traveling northbound on Route 123 at Lakeview Avenue, according to a police report.
The officer pulled over the motorist and discovered while checking her license that a paperless re-arrest warrant had been issued out of Fairfield, the report said.
The woman’s original offense and the date charges were brought, were not immediately clear.
She was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 16 in state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
