Using fingerprint evidence, police arrested a 29-year-old Stamford man by warrant Wednesday in connection with a nighttime burglary more than two years ago.
Miguel Palencia of 9 Sherman St. was charged with second-degree burglary.

According New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski, police obtained finger and palm prints for the Connecticut State Forensic Laboratory after Palencia was confronted at about 3:16 a.m. on Nov. 8, 2011 by a Michigan Road homeowner during a burglary.
“Palencia has a criminal history and was transported to Norwalk Superior Court for arraignment,” Krolikowski said in a written statement. “Palencia is presently incarcerated at the Bridgeport Correctional Center.”
