Police on Sunday afternoon arrested a 63-year-old Stamford man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 4:22 p.m. on Nov. 22, officers were dispatched to the area of Old Stamford at Talmadge Hill Roads, where the motorist had rear-ended another car, according to a police report.
The man failed field sobriety tests administered by police, the report said, and also underwent breath and urine tests whose results are pending.
No one was injured in the accident, the report said. He rear-ended a vehicle that had been stopped at the bottom of Talmadge Hill Road, the report said.
He was released on $260 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 23 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
