Police on Saturday night arrested a 51-year-old Sleepy Hollow Road woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 8:43 p.m. on May 18, an officer on patrol saw a vehicle traveling on Smith Ridge Road that failed to stay within the travel lane, according to a police report.
The officer detected signs of impairment in the driver during a subsequent stop, the report said.
The driver then failed field sobriety tests, it said.
Police took the woman to headquarters for questioning. There, she submitted to a test to establish her blood-alcohol level, which came back at .14, or nearly twice the legal limit.
She was additionally cited for failure to drive in the proper lane.
Police released the woman on $250 bond and scheduled her to appear May 28 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
