Police on Monday night arrested a 58-year-old Stamford man and charged him with driving under the influence following a two-car crash on Jelliff Mill Road.
At about 9:12 p.m. on June 18, officers were dispatched to Jelliff Mill Road on a report of a crash with no injuries, police said.
There, they made contact with both drivers and found that the Stamford man was showing signs of impairment, according to a police report.
He failed field sobriety tests, was taken into custody and refused to undergo a blood-alcohol content test, the report said.
The man was additionally cited for following too closely.
He was held on $250 bond and scheduled to appear June 19 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
