Police before dawn Tuesday arrested a 54-year-old Norwalk man and charged him with disorderly conduct.
At 2:58 a.m. on Sept. 27, officers were dispatched to a Whitney Avenue home on a report of a dispute between two occupants there, police said.
Following an investigation, officers brought the misdemeanor charge against the Norwalk man, according to a police report.
It isn’t clear what prompted the dispute, whether it turned physical, how it is the arrested man occupied both a Norwalk and New Canaan home, whether or how he was related to the other person involved in the dispute and whether that person was male or female.
Because they’re classifying the incident as a domestic matter, police withheld further information.
The man was released after promising to appear Sept. 27 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
