Blue Öyster Cult rose from the 1970s ashes to become one of the nation’s all-time greatest hard-rock ensembles. B.Ö.C. continues to tour hard and loud, kicking out jams at every opportunity. From humble beginnings right across Long Island’s sound, B.Ö.C. gave us hits including “Burnin’ For You,” the tongue in cheek “Godzilla,” and the ghostly guitar and cowbell of “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.” Radio hits, record breaking albums, and pop culture recognition on SNL, Blue Öyster Cult is a national treasure. The night kicks off with The Apocalypse Blues Revue. Co-founded by Godsmack drummer Shannon Larkin and guitarist Tony Rombola and featuring vocalist Ray “Rafer John” Cerbone and bassist Brian Carpenter, the quartet honors blues traditions, while etching their stamp on the genre in blood.
