Police on Monday night arrested a 28-year-old New Canaan woman following a family dispute on Elm Street.

At about 8:09 p.m. on March 21, officers were dispatched to a residence on Elm on a report of the dispute and conducted an investigation, according to a police report.

The woman was charged with breach of peace.

It isn’t clear what precipitated the argument or just what she did to get arrested—police released no further information, because it’s a family matter.

The woman was released after promising to appear Tuesday at state Sueprior Court in Norwalk.
