Stamford, Conn.-Nov. 4, 2015 –Christoph Gorder, will speak at the World Affairs Forum on November 18 at the Main Library (Ferguson Library), DiMattia Building, Third Floor Auditorium in Stamford on “How Technology is Changing International Aid: The charity: water Story”. In his role as Chief Global Water Officer, Christoph also oversees technology innovations that increase transparency and long-term impact of clean water programs.

“Collaboration is the core of how we work. Around the world, we are working with amazing partners and their +1,000 staff on the ground and collaborating with them on a daily basis to provide clean water. So, in a situation like the Nepal Earthquake, we play to our strengths, which is always to work in partnership with local and international NGO’s and the local government.” – Christoph Gorder

Prior to joining charity: water, Christoph spent fifteen years leading disaster response operations and managing large scale healthcare delivery programs around the world. He grew up in the Central African Republic and Nigeria, where getting clean water is still a dream for millions.
