Police arrested a 40-year-old Stratford woman by warrant Friday in connection with the theft in May of a smartphone from a Farm Road business.
On June 8, an 82-year-old resident of the resident healthcare business told police that, the prior month, a $300 iPhone 4 on June had gone missing and never was returned, according to a police report.
A police investigation showed that the woman had been handed the device after it was found, but it never found its way back to the owner, the report said.
The woman was released on $300 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
