The 42-year-old East Avalon Drive woman who violated a protective order by emailing her ex-husband in April turned herself in to police last Tuesday, officials say. The ex-husband, a 45-year-old Darien man, told police that she could only contact him by way of addressing their children, but the email she sent was for him only, according to a police report. The woman was released after promising to appear June 16 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

A 20-year-old Norwalk man turned himself in to New Canaan Police at 6:06 p.m. on June 2 after he failed to appear the prior day for a speeding ticket issued in November.
