Police on Tuesday night arrested a 20-year-old Greenwich man after finding marijuana in his car during a traffic stop.
At about 8:55 p.m. on Oct. 17, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling southbound on Old Stamford Road with a defective marker light, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer saw a glass jar containing marijuana in plain view in the center console, the report said.
Police charged the man with possession of a controlled substance, use and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell or dispense.
He was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 31 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
