Police arrested a 31-year-old Mount Vernon, N.Y. man on a felony charge in connection with the theft in November 2012 of a $30,000 Rolex from an Elm Street jewelry store. On Nov. 19, 2012—about one year prior to the brazen daytime armed robbery at the store—a well-dressed man walked into Henry C. Reid & Son and asked to see the watch, according to a police report. When the jeweler showed it to him, the man grabbed the watch and ran out the front door, the report said. Police were able to identify the man as Charles Moye and their active investigation was closed when they served a warrant for his arrest at 6 p.m. on Aug.
