Police on Thursday morning arrested a 26-year-old Norwalk man by warrant and charged him with failure to respond to an infraction.

He had been cited Feb. 23 for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both infraction-level offenses, according to a police report. The summons issued for the offenses requires those cited to pay or plead by a fixed date.

Police released the man on $250 bond and scheduled him to appear Sept. 13 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
