Police arrested a 34-year-old Port Chester, N.Y. man by warrant on Tuesday and charged him with failure to respond to an infraction summons.

He originally had been cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 18, according to a police report.

When he failed to pay or plead to those offenses, police generated a paperless warrant for his arrest.

He turned himself in at about 6:35 p.m. on April 26.

Police released him on $250 bond and scheduled him to appear May 10 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
