Don’t miss Theory of a Deadman doing a live acoustic set at The Playhouse! They are the platinum-selling rockers from Delta, British Columbia, best known for their chart-topping hits “Bad Girlfriend”, “Lowlife” and “Angel” among others! They became the first act to sign with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records imprint in 2001. Tyler Connolly (vocals/guitar) reportedly slipped a copy of the band’s demo to Kroeger at a post-concert party and the two were soon collaborating on songs together. One of these, “Invisible Man,” was used as the B-side for 2002’s wildly successful Spider-Man theme “Hero” (a Kroeger collaboration with Saliva singer Josey Scott). Most recently, 2011’s The Truth Is… landed in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top 200 Albums Chart upon its debut, while topping the ‘Top Rock Albums’, ‘Top Alternative Albums’ and ‘Top Hard Rock Albums’ charts. In addition, it spawned the number one radio hit Lowlife, which ruled Rock Radio for three weeks straight! Band members include Tyler Connolly (lead vocal and lead guitar), David Brenner (rhythm guitar), Dean Back (bass) and Joey Dandeneau (drums).
