St. Mark’s Fully Alive Speaker Series

FreeNew Canaan resident Lise Leist will be the guest speaker at the 9AM Fully Alive forum at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, November 10. She will speak on the topic of Race, Equity, and Inclusion in the third of three sessions of Fully Alive on Race and Diversity. All are welcome to attend.
Lise Leist is the Director of Post Secondary Education, Future 5 in Stamford. As Director, Leist has the responsibility for engagement, development and membership experience for Future 5–Stamford area high school students. She champions Future 5’s mission: to unlock the potential of every student, playing a critical role in helping all with his or her college career transition. In addition, to developing and providing opportunities or financial support through local and national community organizations. Leist brings 20 years of people leadership experience across multiple industries and scales of business. Prior to joining Future 5, she served as Dean of Community Affairs for King school as a leader in education and understanding of innovative and adaptable diversity education curricula. Leist is a thought leader in diversity and inclusion focusing on the inclusions paradox, tapping into various cultural perspectives. Receiving her Diversity Management Certification from Cornell, she continues to engage the minds and hearts of all people through an understanding of intercultural competence.
Leist holds degrees from Pine Manor College and Manhattanville College. She serves as Vice Chair of Pine Manor College and Trustee for the Greenwich Audubon. She also enjoys teaching Etiquette and Protocol for students, adults, and businesses.
Fully Alive will feature a host of compelling speakers throughout the year who will explore the difference Christ makes in particular aspects of our lives, including family, work, money, sex, play, and more. Fully Alive will include other offerings throughout the year, including regular weekday classes, retreats, a special course for high schoolers, quiet days, and concerts.
